I’m an Irish voiceover and copy writer living in London. Originally from Roscommon in the rugged west of Ireland. I grew up loving stories, writing them and telling them. After a degree in English and Media Studies, led me to an M.A. in Film and Television Studies at Dublin City University. I worked as a runner for RTE. The best way to learn the nuts and bolts of any business is at the bottom. And from there I found myself writing short films and screenplays, acting and voicing came along as the next step and before long I was training to be a Continuity Announcer on RTE2 where my flair for writing creatively was put to good use. From there, a stint as a weather presenter (both live and pre-recorded bulletins) and various ad hoc presenting duties on daytime telly as a Christmas Cake tester (still my favourite job) before moving to the UK to work as the Continuity Announcer for Film4 – putting my love of films and talking to great use. It’s been well over a decade and you’ll hear me across the full Channel4 portfolio on linear and digital now.

But I’ve also talked about being a talker and how important talking is both on Channel4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch and on BBC’s The Media Show where I told Katie Razzell just how important it is to hear diverse voices from a variety of backgrounds.

Come in, have a look around and if you think I might be the right fit for your next project, then let me know. I’d love to hear more.
